Night Fishing Discoveries:
Night Fishing Discoveries Intro 2
Night fishing is a great experience and an excellent way of testing
all your senses. You have to cast in the dark and use your ears to
listen to your line going out (it always sounds like it's going out
a long way). You have to feel when your sinker hits the water or the
bottom so that you can readily take up any slack. You will be on full
alert at all times.
Many times you will find more consistency in catching effectiveness.
It is generally more calm, no boat traffic, less noise, no jet skies,
and no running from spot to spot casting and changing lures. It is
so much more relaxing to fish at night. You will experience a kind
of peace and quiet that just can’t be had during the daytime
hours. When the moon is out, you are treated to a haunting atmosphere,
which is just glorious.
Most fish are more active at night than they are during the day.
When out on an 18-24 hour fishing trip, typically 70 – 80% of
all fish caught are at night. Additionally, night fishing can produce
some excellent sized fish especially the big predatory type fish that
come in closer to feed at night.
The following discoveries were put together using night fishing tips
from experience evening anglers, as well as from some of my own experiences.
If you follow them it is nearly impossible to get skunked, and you
can expect at least 20+ keepers per person, especially when using
the Evening Secret.
